North Carolina assisted living ranks its assisted living facilities. Due to the high number of facilities in North Carolina (over 600), we have listed only those communities with 4-star rating - the highest rating.
Even if a facility doesn't have the highest rating, it may have other features that appeal to you and some facilities may have missed the highest ranking by just a couple points (you can check the actual points awarded on the government site).
North Carolina explains other ways of determining if a facility is right for you, including your own personal inspection. The North Carolina Star Rated Certificate program is in response to consumers requests for help in making informed decisions. A rank of 4 means the facility has scored 100 or more points.
