There are also state government sites that list assisted living communities. Find state sites on our state and resource pages.
States call assisted living facilities by various names and this makes it harder to find their lists.
We also list these government resources on our Regional and State pages. Government sites have more facilities listed than we could possibly list on this site. Our lists, however, include specific descriptions of communities and unique features, breakdown by categories and links to communities websites. We tend to list facilities that have more than 10-15 units.
